Service Description

Mossline Garden Lab provides landscape design services, consultation, installation coordination, and maintenance services for urban gardens and small hospitality spaces in the Tokyo area.

Our services include site analysis, design development, AR previews, plant sourcing, installation coordination, and ongoing maintenance subscriptions.

Consultation and Design Process

All design consultations require advance scheduling and payment of applicable consultation fees. Site visits are conducted during agreed-upon timeframes and may be subject to weather conditions.

Design proposals are based on site conditions at the time of assessment and may require modifications based on seasonal changes or unforeseen circumstances.

Payment Terms

Payment for consultation services is due at the time of booking. Design development fees are due upon completion of initial design concepts. Installation project payments follow a structured schedule as outlined in individual project agreements.

All prices are quoted in Japanese Yen and are subject to applicable taxes. Payment methods include bank transfer, credit card, and cash for smaller consultation fees.

Installation and Third-Party Services

Mossline Garden Lab coordinates with vetted installation partners but does not directly perform installation work. We are not liable for installation quality issues, though we will assist in resolving disputes with installation partners.

Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary permits and ensuring property access for installation teams.

Plant Health and Maintenance

While we select plants appropriate for local conditions, we cannot guarantee plant survival due to factors beyond our control including weather, soil conditions, pests, and maintenance practices.

Maintenance subscriptions include regular care visits but do not cover plant replacement due to natural causes or client negligence.

Intellectual Property Rights

All design concepts, plans, and materials created by Mossline Garden Lab remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Clients receive usage rights for their specific property only.

Reproduction or distribution of our designs for commercial purposes without written consent is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

Mossline Garden Lab's liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

Our liability for any claim related to garden design or installation coordination shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project in question.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Consultation appointments may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund. Design development work may be cancelled during the initial concept phase with partial refund based on work completed.

Installation project cancellations are subject to the terms outlined in individual project agreements and may incur cancellation fees.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or other unforeseeable circumstances.

In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule services or provide alternative solutions when possible.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to mediation and, if necessary, arbitration under Japanese law.

The courts of Tokyo, Japan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings related to our services.

Privacy and Data Protection

Modifications to Terms
